The Essential Heroes of COVID-20

When the reality of our world changed, 

it seemed like one big illusion

As the Pandemic of COVID-19 started to affect people 

in such a horrific way, I realized it wasn't at all a delusion

I began to frown

as we witnessed the closing of businesses, schools, parks,

my favorite restaurants, gyms, bars, sports, and even 

Hollywood were forced to shutdown

Without a doubt!

We took essential supplies for granted, like water,

rubbing alcohol, tissue, paper towel, masks, and

other essential needs, which were practically sold out!

At no ones fault

The world came to a complete halt

People had to stay in their homes

More than ever, we began to appreciate our Teachers!

Especially, when parents had to fulfill that role for their

children, which I'm sure it nearly drove them crazy

It wasn't a time for any of us to be lazy

However, when the world hibernated, not everyone could 

stay home

If everyone in this great Country of ours actually stayed home,

our financial institutions would have completely collapsed!

EVERYONE would have been broke

Not only would everyone be out of cash

Our Country would be full of filthy trash

People would have looted for food, water, gas, & other things

Our Country would have been burned down to the ground

Many deaths were reported and still being reported today

However, more and more people would have died all around

That's why I thank God Almighty for ALL the Essential Heroes!

Without them, our Country would be a big fat ZERO!

I thank all the Essentials, who have to go in and keep our

financial institutions running, especially the banks

I thank all the Essentials, who delivers our mail and packages

I thank all the Essentials, who are the Custodians that keep

the buildings clean for other Essential Employees to work comfortably

I thank all the Essentials, who work at the supermarkets, gas stations,

restaurants, the local community stores, and laundromats

I, especially, want to thank ALL the Essentials, who are the First

Responders: The EMT workers, The Police, Firefighters, Sanitation

Workers, Doctors, Nurses, Nurses Aids, and all other Employees

who work in hospitals and nursing homes all around this Nation

For they are truly the Front Liners in this Pandemic War to save Humanity

Without them, we wouldn't be able to hold our breathe

Just like the Front Liners, we, too, would be surrounded by so much death!

Again, I thank God for ALL the Essential Workers

In a time where the world is full of anxiety

You are the REAL Heroes of our Society

There should ALWAYS be a Memorial for you ALL

Especially those, who have fallen

Instead of being the Essential Heroes of COVID-19, which stands 

for Corona Virus Disease for 2019

In my heart and in my eyes, you are the Essential Heroes of COVID-20

which stands for Christ Offers Victorious Impeccable Domination for 2020

We salute The Essential Heroes of COVID-20
