The Innocence of a Child

It's funny how you look at children

They're either playing, laughing, crying, eating, or sleeping

Whenever I look at a child, I ask myself, 'man!  Will this child become a villain?'

'Is this child going to be someone famous?'

'Is this child going to succeed in life, regardless to the obstacles of the world?'

'Will this child grow up to be strung out on drugs?  Or, land in prison for the rest of his/her life?'

'What will this child's destiny be?'

These are questions I ask myself from time-to-time, whenever I see a child playing in a park, or riding a bicycle with training wheels

Children are so innocent, they do not know the value of money

Children do not know how to worry

Instead, they think life is always sunny

They do not know the danger of drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes

They do not have a clue what it's like to pay a bill

They do not know how to steal

They do not know what Racism, war, or prison is like

They have no idea what lies ahead for them in the future

We as adults must protect our children and make sure they are disciplined and loved!

We must make sure our children receive a decent education

We must teach them to have love and respect for themselves, and for others!

We must also teach them that WE ARE ALL ONE in this world

To inform them that we are all sisters and brothers!

However, IT ALL STARTS IN THE HOME FIRST!

Like the Word of God says, 'Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.'

God bless all the children around the world!

For the children are the future!
